Jesus Wept...Then Bitch-Slapped Jim McEntire

OH, PLEASE!

I wasn't going to have a whole topic devoted to the whole Gabe Rygaard death thing. His passing is just a passing thing. But then I saw the official quote from Dim (Former) King Jim in the PDN's latest milk-it-for-all-it's-worth article on the subject...

"I was just shocked and devastated. It was terrible to think my friend Gabe is gone. I just feel so bad for his family. Gabe had a close relationship with his savior, Jesus Christ, so I am not worried about Gabe..."

Spoken like the true lying, self-serving sociopathic yahoo he is.

First, Jim McEntire isn't the kind of guy to have friends. He has cohorts, co-conspirators, temporary allies. He's a lean, mean pocket-lining machine, and there's no place in your heart or life for sentimentality when that's your modus operandi. With that in mind, his concerns for Rygaard's family also ring false, fake, so much flummery.

And for Jim McEntire to talk about Jesus Christ...His idea of Christian charity is to rip off Peter and Paul. He's one of the least spiritual people I have ever had the displeasure to be around. Do reptiles have souls? I don't know for sure, but if Jim McEntire (sleazeball, crook, liar and now world-class hypocrite) does have one, it's doubtlessly a tiny, black, sulfurous thing.

Hey, Jim...How about a hot cup of this?

Ah, but the words coming out of his fork-tongued mouth will be warmly received, and their sincerity not questioned. So many windbags in Clallam County get a free pass that way. (Just like Trump too often gets a free pass on a much larger level.) But I just couldn't let this one go without calling bullshit on Jim McEntire's so-called sympathy. He's dead inside, and he sure as hell isn't sorry that there's one less fat, right-wing fool in Clallam County. It just means less competition for him.

  1. And, I'm glad you did, too.

Again, with all the pressing, real problems this county has, what is the focus of the so-called leadership? LOOKING like they care? Posturing and pandering to the blue haired set at the Soroptimists Club and Senior Center? Publicly pronouncing their piousness and virtuous purity and correctness?

If Jesus ever came back, and looked at what all these jerks do in his name, he'd sure be less than impressed.

    1. "Posturing and pandering to the blue haired set at the Soroptimists Club and Senior Center? " You mean the people that actually bother to vote?

  2. Why do we give a pass to religion when anybody else believing in an all powerful, but not to blame for anything bad (uh, how does that work?), invisible friend who lives up in the sky would be institutionalized?

    2. How can anyone talk to you, your always hiding behind that stupid mask?

    3. That's "you're." As in, a contraction of "you are." It's a five letter word, like, say, troll. (Kudos to Anon 3:23 PM on that call.) And you're talking to me now, troll, only you aren't really saying anything.

    4. Is that always the best you can do? It was another sensible person at 9:07AM.Only a scumbag such as yourself is capable of putting down a person who died only two days before.

    5. Please, do tell how I've "put down" a person who died only two days before. Please, cut and paste my "put down."

Is it a "put down" to state facts? Really?

And sorry if you are (or "you're") sensitive about your bad spelling. But again...Those are just the facts. There are rules of the road for spelling and grammar, just like there are for, well, real roads. Ignoring those rules...Can lead to trouble and embarrassment.

    8. If an idiot wasn't wearing a seatbelt (not only breaking the LAW, but all laws of common sense and sanity) then they were at fault for their death. Tailgating is also against the law. It's also incredibly stupid and moronic.

What is the deal about people getting all touchy about pointing out that this wasn't just "some accident" it was an accident CAUSED by someone being stupid, a crappy driver, and not even caring to do the bare minimum to protect their own life (wearing a seat belt).

Life by stupidity. Die by it.

But, we're all supposed to sing the dead guys praises because...why, exactly? Just because.

      Folks, this wasn't Mother Teresa.

    9. Anonymous 7:01 AM...

      I'd say those are facts.

For "fat," check out any picture or video of Mr. Rygaard. Svelte he was not.

As for "right-wing," please review his positions, such as they were, expressed during his failed political campaign.

Finally, for the "fool" part...Well, what do YOU call someone who follows too closely, and doesn't wear a seatbelt, and gets themselves killed? Isn't it within the realm of possibility that breaking the law and driving badly are, in fact, foolish choices?

    10. Oh, CK, you got it ALL wrong. Gabe was a hometown hero that we all should be proud of. He was on TV. No, really. Gabe was, like, a star!

And, he ran for office. As a Republican. He was going to lead the County.

      By example.

    11. Except that, sorry to break it to you anon 5:26, but this place has already crashed and gone into the ditch.

      Years ago.

  4. Dim Jim's hypocrisy duly noted. One of his many fine qualities.

He sounds like he's still running for office, which makes me worry.

  5. I do not understand what any of you are talking about. Everyone knows all you have to do is slap the words Jesus and Christian all over everything and you will get to heaven and in office. We are after all a god fearing, Jesus loving, flag waving, christian county.

    1. Not to belabor the issue, but why do people take pride in saying they fear god? If their god is just and good, what is there to fear? Some crazy, unjustified irrational action? That "wrath of god" thing?

I know, it is just something that is said to show others you're part of that group. Acceptance and group identity is so important to insecure people.

    2. Amen, Anon 8:30 AM. Testify! I, too, have always been baffled by the whole "worship a vengeful god" thing. Religion is just so profoundly unspiritual most of the time, to me, anyway.

    3. These are Murkan Xtian Republicanists we're dealing with. Their entire religious text (if that's what you want to call it) is selected parts of the Old Testament (a speed-reading of Genesis and their favorite parts of Leviticus) a smidgen or two of the New Testament (mostly the more spooky-sounding parts of Revelations), and the Second Amendment (minus that pesky "well-regulated militia part) all set to the strains of Ted Nugent and the Charlie Daniels Band.

And that's why I call Murkan Xtian Republicanism a communicable mental illness.

  6. Don't be too quick to disparage reptiles - unlike the disappointment that is Jim, I have found them to be delightful little creatures.

  7. For whatever it's worth....I have a friend who is friendly with the Rygaard clan. According to them (via him), Gabe's run for county commissioner was part of a pitch for a new reality show, featuring "ax man" as a politician. With everything that's going on with Trump, they seemed to have thought it was a natural. Given the clown show nature of those shows, I can't say I'm sorry not to have one centered around our courthouse. Things here are embarrassing enough just on a local level. We didn't need to expand the audience for our dysfunction.

  9. What is it with all these vehicle crashes up there? Nearly every day there's been some sort of serious and/or fatal crash on the Peninsula, up to and including the guy who died on the motocross track.

Someone really seems to have it in for folks burning up fossil fuels. Buckle up, folks, and look both ways before crossing the street.

    1. Haven't you heard? The city/county default plan for fighting homelessness is vehicular homicide. There have been at least 15 vehicle/pedestrian strikes in the last 6 months. Not all fatal but many are.

  11. With all this pious rhetoric bouncing around town why is it the churches are completely AWOL on the homeless issue? As far as I can tell the only church ministering to the homeless and downtrodden is the Salvation Army--and they are catching hell from Jim's Pharmacy.

  12. No shit! Now there's been yet another hit and run locally. The cops have a guy in custody, and his last name is (no joke) Speedy. WTF is it with this place???

    1. Yes indeedy, his name IS Speedy! PERFECT name for all sorts of vehicular offenses, eh? And being named Richard "Dick" Speedy, why, he's also perfect for porn - as soon as he gets outta the hoosegow. Yakima, you can be proud!

    2. Sounds like a Speedy Dick all right. Fighting with firefighters, then fleeing. What a nut. He'll be right at home in our county jail.
