Ethics Board to Cherie's Shyster: Thanks, But No (Ethic)ing Thanks for Your Suggestion...And We Sincerely Hope You Enjoyed Wasting Our Tax Dollars

A minor victory, yes, but still kind of satisfying...Especially seeing Cherie's taxpayer-funded attorney being unable to change the outcome, and especially knowing how even this minor indignity will annoy and embarrass Cherie no end.

Now that she's wasted the public's money on her non-essential lawyer for this "case," she can get back to her usual tasks of wasting much larger sums of public dollars on equally questionable projects.

And heck, now that this is over, who knows? Maybe the PDN can mention Cherie's name in an article and not feel like they have to disable their own commenting function...

  1. Like Cherie herself, this "punishment" is sorely lacking.

    1. What do you expect? They did as little as possible in the range of recommendations, short of nothing.
Bloor's damage control worked very well, thank you.

    1. One of the nice things about this blog is that it is (mostly, it seems) troll-free. I'm sure that I'm not alone in appreciating that.

  3. But wait, there's more. Kidd lied under oath. It is on videotape. She's not out of the woods by a long shot. Let her have her "victory lap" telling google-eyed Gottlieb how she is happy with her decision and thinks she did the right thing, etc. As they say in the movies, "the jury is still out on this one." Kidd said, under oath, that councilman Lee Whetham was standing up, palms upward and pumping his hands up and down to incite the crowd. This is what she said created the climate of danger which prompted her to end the meeting. This is a goddamn lie. Another video shows Whetham remained seated, head bowed in embarrassment while Kidd had her meltdown. Perjury is a criminal offense. This will go before a real judge and not 3 wannabes. If anyone else witnessed Kidd lie in public please contact the city police department. They are honor bound to make a report and maybe even refer it to an outside agency for investigation. Let's see how many times she will lie to save her scrawny ass.

    1. This was already mentioned in another thread, so you may not have seen it, but the county prosecutor is the office that would decide whether or not to charge in a case such as this, not the "city police department."

    2. Kidd lies about being 3rd generation.

(how can that be if her mother's parents were born in Norway? And her father's elsewhere?).

She lies about being the "owner" of a business

(not listed on the UBI...not an owner as far as reality, and the state, is concerned).

Her motivational speaking business is not listed (now or ever) with the state.

Heck, she even lived elsewhere for most of her adult life.

So, at what point this lie, under oath, not part of her repertoire? She lies, and lies, and lies, and lies.

After all, she thinks no one actually listens to her fibs. (And, usually, most people don't.)

Clearly, lying and b.s., batting her fake eyelashes, and kissing ass is what has worked for her, her whole life.

      Thinking? Not her strong point.

    3. The whole "motivational speaker" fake business thing is just SO pathetic. If ever there was someone who is NOT good at public speaking, or just plain talking, it is Cherie Kidd. If you took away the squeaks, screeches and stammers, there'd be nothing left of her "speaking voice."

  4. Bad, bad Cherie! No French toast for you today!

  5. Unfortunately, given the results of this whole...fiasco, and given her own limited mental capacity, I'm sure that all Cherie has "learned" from this is exactly what her city sponsored attorney tried to promote: She did no wrong.

Promoting a survey that she was willing ignore wasn't wrong.

Ignoring the expressed will of the people wasn't wrong.

    Being rude wasn't wrong.

    Failing to apologize wasn't wrong.

Spending tax dollars on her own attorney to deal with this wasn't wrong.

    Lying under oath wasn't wrong.

I'm sure you get the idea, just as I'm sure that Cherie DOESN'T get it. She is beyond an embarrassment. What ever happened to the recall efforts?

    1. People figured out that a recall is actually a rather high legal standard, and very expensive to pursue. Hmm, wonder why that would be?

    2. Perjury is within the area she can be bounced...

    3. yes, but she needs to be found guilty of perjury.
The woman lies all the time....

    4. Perjury in a courtroom is punishable, but is it in all venues?

    5. probably not in our ethics kangaroo court.

  6. Figures she is so assured she "did nothing wrong". She isn't just stupid, but clueless, too.

The woman shouldn't be leader of cockroaches, much less the Deputy Mayor.

Please, everyone write the city council and recommend she be stripped of the Deputy Mayor position. We don't need "Queen Cherie" in the event that Mayor Downie vacates the post.

Please? Our city council NEEDS to act properly.

  7. Cherie just does whatever the voices in her head tell her to do.

Are Cherie and Bloor in a secret tryst? He sure panders to her ego. The "ethics" board had him write the final papers, and there are more words on how grand she is, and how dedicated than there are for the ethics she violated.

How did that taunt go when we were kids? "Bloor and Kidd sitting in a tree....k-i-s-s-i-n-g..."

  8. We subscribe to the Daily News because so many of the news stories are planted into the paper at the request of local government agencies, like a local event. I believe some talented person in the government press release office deep in the courthouse basement writes the stories and the Daily News just slaps some drunken reporter's name on it. It's hard to refute what local government is up to and what crazy shit they are trying to "hoodwink" (my grandma's word)the public with. There is so much of it that reading the, sunshine and lollipops are flying out of our asses, news reports are a "tell" as to when to be suspicious. I recently wrote a letter to the editor about a news report of a accident on the deadly Morse Creek S curve. The reporter who was screening and fact checking editors letters called me and was puzzled to what accident I could possibly be referring to. He had the last reported accident in his computer as occurring last year. This was THREE days that's right "T H R E E " days after the accident happened and the story was reported by the very same reporter I was speaking with. When I commented that it was his name on the news report there was what sounded like confused surfing for a couple of minutes and then a ahh-ha moment when he found the three day old, head on collusion on deadly curve, news report with his name attached to it.

    1. Please be more understanding. The force of the collusion knocked all memory out of his head. And yes, I meant to use that word...This IS the PDN we're talking about, after all.

  9. So, will Bill Bloor be allowed to "advise" the ethics board that will be dealing with the complaint against him? Or will he also get a fancy Seattle attorney?

    2. Um, isn;t that why HE actually hired Kidd's attorney for her?

Kidd didn't hire him, she didn't even sign a contract to hire him. Hell, neither she or Gase would have even known where to look.

This is your city hall in action. Always an ulterior motive. Always.

    3. Bloor needs to go. All the nefarious b.s. that comes out of the city has his fat little finger prints all over it.
I don't care that he LOOKS like Dwight Eisenhower, he isn't. He's an untrustworthy, second rate attorney, and raking in the dough (way over paid).
      Bloor MUST GO.

    4. HE hired an attorney for Cherie/Danny, so that HE could hire one for himself, for HIS ethics complaint.
      Rotten little bald bastard.

  10. Somebody please make a big poster of the picture of Cherie, above, and get it put up around town. Better yet, get it up as a billboard.

    What a creature.

  11. As a symbolic gesture, people attending city council meetings should bring a gavel with them. Doing so would put a knot in Cherie's "steel panties"

  13. Has Revitalize PA gone belly up? I know the Lincoln Theater efforts are dead in the water. I was just on the Revitalize website, and they haven't updated anything since last year. (???)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Given Cherie was one of their big boosters, the Revitalize PA folks must have come to their senses and realized that Cherie and her cronies aren't really interested in a revitalized Port Angeles.

Really, remember, Cherie runs a business renting out moving trucks, so people can get the hell out of this waste of space.

      Delete
    2. Revitalize has always been mainly the Facebook page, which is still plenty busy. They do need to freshen up that web page, stuff has happened.

    3. Correction...Cherie's hubby OWNS (and presumably runs) a business that is renting out storage spaces and U-Haul trucks.
The business that got EDC help. The business that acquired it's U-Haul brand when the, then Mayor, snagged it away from another guy. (Rumor has it that she "used her influence".)
However, the business license (on file with the state..the UBI) doesn't list Cherie at all. She's fibbing again when she says it's "her business".
      NOT.
Does that woman ever tell the truth?

    4. If Cherie was told to look up U-Haul in the phonebook, she'd start looking in the Ys. She doesn't run anything but her mouth.
