The Withering of The Vine

Thanks for all the tips pouring in, folks. Taking back your town from the creepy, creepy cretins in "Our Town" is possible, but they have been very active, popping up everywhere like weeds.

Or, maybe like vines. Below you'll find a link to Daniel Macha's GoFundMe pitch to start his own, more fascistic and "Our Town"-centric newspaper, "The Vine of Clallam County." Needless to say, it looks like a money-grabbing scam, because I very much doubt that Mr. Macha has the inclination or ability to actually produce anything. And, needless to say, as a money-grab, it looks less than successful, given that his goal is $10,000, and he has raised a whopping $370 so far.

https://www.gofundme.com/planting-the-vine-of-clallam-county-2w6ctys

Anyway, when you go to the "Planting the Vine" pitch page, you'll see the photo below of Daniel Macha, so you can know what this macho blowhard looks like.

And when you check out the "Planting the Vine" page, be sure to click on the link for the "Our Town coverage map." It's the map(s) they created to hunt and hassle homeless people - just like what Jesus would do if he only had a computer.

Finally, let me post this photo of David Morse again (he's the one on the right, with the flabby belly), as well as his great "braking" the law quote. You know what, David? Even if you can't spell, you're still capable of creating evidence and announcing your criminal intent. You moron.

  1. Interesting, Chelsea Ward pledged the first $200. First of all I don't believe she has two big ones to pass around but if she does she made it cleaning homes and possibly stealing cell phones from those homes and selling/giving them to Adam Chamberlin for his twisted purposes. If she's cleaning your home you better search her when she leaves to see how much of your shit she has stolen.

The best part is: It's a CLOSED group. Only members can see the discussion. Outreach, my ass. Reaching out to steal blankets maybe?

  3. Just what Port Angeles needs. And, I hope they get LOTS of coverage. Like, far and wide.

So, when people are planning their vacations, and type in "Port Angeles" into their computers, they can be impressed by what a crime ridden town Port Angeles is. One where the law enforcement are not trusted, and deemed ineffectual. One where armed vigilantes threatened people they don't like with guns, and firebomb trailers. And a place where the local civic leaders and businesses support this type of lawlessness.

Yep! That sounds like the place I'd take my family of four to on our next vacation.

Of course, to do so, first you'll probably have to borrow a dictionary from someone. (See again: "Sarcasm.")

  7. If you want to put an end to this lawlessness you need to send a message to Chief of Police Brian Smith and let him know you expect better of him. If you have no success there contact the city manager, Dan McKeen:

    1. Dan McKeen is the oversight for the $1 million spent on adult detentions in 2014/2013 when $650k was budgeted, despite actual charges declining since 2011. Jail time must have been the previous solution, with Our Town being the recent solution, with police volunteers that attempt to help us avoid a cost to the tax payer (i.e., bury the homeless problem with the "stick-head-in-sand" solution).

    2. Yet another example of what has been going on for months now with these people: threatening and revenge.

But, this isn't new. They are just organizing under a different name. Remember Brooke Nelson, who made the accusations against Max Mania? The fascists had been trying to shut him up for months, but finally had their front person. Now, we see them using an incident from 5 years ago, with a different person, to go after Dale and the Port o Call. The powers-that-be have been trying to shut down the Port o Call since it started, because they don't like not being able to control him. Any more than they could control Max.

They threaten everyone they don't like.

      Delete
    3. This town as Mr. Mania so aptly described years ago in his parting words: "the politics of personal destruction." Has it not changed?

      Delete
    4. "Politics of personal destruction" is a great way to describe the destroy to distract strategy of trying to make the criminal activities of Our Town less important than the supposed past actions of a supposed part-time employee of the PoC. Someone starts to expose them for what they are, and they respond by throwing a third party under the bus as a distraction. As cruel as it is obvious.

  9. This idiot tried to post a notice about this group on a facebook group I am a administrator for, Port Angeles Area, about a week ago. I refused to allow the post , he got very indignant and told me Id feel differently if my daughter was a drug user hanging around the homeless? and warned about the danger to the public from homeless junkie needles in the parks. Ummm... No I would not feel differently about a hate group targeting the homeless and or addicted citizens in the town I live.

    1. Not to mention the many righteous people out there who have driven drunk, and even killed, and never been punished for it. Hypocrisy runs deep and wide in these people, and in those in charge of Port Angeles.

Or, to put it another way: We can all keep our eyes open for the stray needle when we're out walking, but drunk drivers (and other actual threats) come charging right at you.

Like these bozos have been charging at Bif.

  11. Oh, and per my new paranoid "Our Town" readership...This blog has (as of this writing) gotten just shy of 2500 pageviews today.

Meanwhile, here we are nearly 12 hours after I posted this topic, and the GoFundMe funds for Daniel Macha's scam "newspaper" still stand at just $370. This despite the bragging note I got about how this "free publicity" was helping bring in $$$. I guess that snotty commenter was...Seriously wrong.

    1. Which is consistent with the way this group operates.

Saturday Chelsea says she is shutting down Our Town because of the comments posted here, thanks her supporters, and says she will "rebuild".

Now, we do remember who started with the accusations, and made a big effort posting on Facebook, and asking supporters to call and harass PortOCall advertisers. Not because Dale Wilson did anything illegal. Not that the advertisers did anything illegal, or to harm Our Town or Chelsea. The group even has a head of the effort to call the advertisers.

But post comments here critical of Our Town? How outrageous and unfair. Obviously Chelsea is the victim in this whole thing. Riiight.

Truth? They make it up as they go along. Seriously deranged? Obviously.

    2. Chelsea don't know where she shit last. One day she takes down the Our Town Facebook page. Next day she puts it back up. Next day she resigns as administrator of the Facebook page, next day she re-posts it but with only her "trusted" members. Our Town is quickly becoming a laughingstock in the entire community but they cannot see it. She has gotten so drunk on the little bit of power she gets from managing a local terrorist gang she can't leave it alone. It's like your tongue returning over and over to an empty tooth socket. Chelsea, shit or get off the pot.

    3. Anyone notice in the first paragraph of the PDN story on the vigilantes Gotlib mentioned the word "misdemeanor." In his previous story about Adam Chamberlin's arrest he never got around to mentioning the words, "Our Town" or "felony." Chamberlin was charged with two felonies. Gotlib must be afraid those fat men will come after him. chickenshit

  12. Here is a gem from an OT supporter that was posted on a previous thread:

"It's disappointing that you choose to attack a persons appearance. Is that not the lowest of low? Posting addresses and phone numbers is accomplishing what?

It saddens me to see that you have become the person who hides behind a computer screen and takes pride in pointing out other peoples faults. "

Our Town has been doing exactly this. Their leader Adam Chamberlin was arrested and charged for stealing cell phone pictures, and posting them on the internet. The group has taken pictures of the homeless, and posted them on the internet. Three of their group are charged with threatening homeless with guns.

But this person gets upset when pictures of their group get posted?

  14. Well, the PDN finally got around to publishing a story about the vigilantes--without ever mentioning the word vigilante. And, it was three/fourths of the way into the story before "Our Town" and Chelsea Ward was ever mentioned. Plus, notice the nondescript headline, "Charges mulled in camp conflict." Sounds like the cub scouts couldn't decide between smores or marshmallows. Why is Paul Goatlip coddling Our Town and these 3 fat men who dressed up in camouflage, packing pistols, and harassing a 115 pound man and his sister? Why did the police take so long to refer this criminal conduct for prosecution? How many other such "conflicts" occurred since this one. How many of those "conflicts" could have been avoided if the police arrested these three clowns the day after the report was made to police? There is already evidence that David Morse assaulted at least two other homeless men since this episode happened last summer. Reports to the police seem to get lost in the shuffle. Anybody have a good number for the ACLU?

What NEEDS to happen is that someone needs to initiate a lawsuit regarding the things taken (and declared trash) and bring all these OurTown idiots into civil court, and sue them for every penny that shakes out of their baggy jeans.

  15. Uh-oh, word coming out of the courthouse says the county prosecutor, Mark Nickles is getting squishy in regard to prosecuting these vigilante crimes. He's installing a weather vane on top the courthouse to see which way the wind blows. Let's let the man know we expect him to prosecute these crimes or step down and let someone do the job for him. Right now there are at least three fatal hit and run incidents on his desk and he is still twiddling his thumbs, reading his tea leaves and hoping for some divine light to tell him which way to go to ensure his re-election two years down the line. Readers here must put the man strait on this--snuff out this vigilante gang once and for all. Follow the evidence as far up the line as needed to expose the guilty and their enablers. This is a dangerous threat to the future of this community and if he gets squishy on this we may never have a law-abiding community where people are drawn to the area to spend tourist dollars. Mark, do you job and be quick about it. Every day you delay is giving aid and comfort to the scoundrels--and you know it. Let Mark know your thoughts on this by emailing: prosecutor@co.clallam.wa.us

  16. 6:07, you know they can't call a spade a spade anymore for all the lawyers. I feel good they're reporting this much, cause after all it's only misdemeanor. The story says 285 incidents since July. You got to read between the lines some. In their timid little way there saying we got a fucken problem here. People will get that. To me the big thing is Our Town CANNOT fucken pretend it's just Unearthed and Port O Call bullying them anymore. Everybody knows, Our Town. You are burnt toast.

  17. Just read the PDN story. 285 harassment reports since July 1 2016. These guys sure are busy. Does anyone have a job? Pretty sick hobby to harass people.

    ReplyDelete
  18. In the news are stories of armed vigilantes dressed in camouflage setting up “hunting parties” where they go out rousting homeless camps ostensibly because of their littering habits. Port O Call suggests they missed a great opportunity to fight littering when the Rayonier property they were defending was pumping the ground and the harbor full of toxic chemicals that will cost taxpayers up to $100,000,000 to clean up. (one hundred million dollars)

All three of the urban commandos were living here when the various industries were pumping poison into the bay and on the land. Everyone knew about it but looked the other way because of the jobs provided by the mill. Now the mills and the jobs are long gone but the toxic soup is still with us and once we pay for the clean-up all the advantages of those jobs will be in the negative column for those still around to pay up.

Maybe these cowboys are only cut out to harass defenseless people. If they had gone into Rayonier’s offices while still operating here and demanded they clean up their mess or “get out of town” they would have been laughed off the premises and maybe even locked up. Not so when the victims are homeless and defenseless.

  19. And Shea is swearing it never happened as reported. From the comments section of the article:

    "Shea McDonald 29 minutes ago
I am one of the accused in this article and the allegations are completely untrue. We weren't wearing camo, no firearms were ever brandished, no one was ever threatened, and nothing in the camp was touched. We took a look to see what was back there and notified Rainier, that's all."

Chelsea Ward runs Fresh Start Cleaning and of course she and Adam have a habit of stealing other people's shit so if you have something missing inform the police and they can get a warrant and maybe return your stuff like happened when they served a warrant on Adam Chamberlin and recovered ten cell phones and a sack full of phone card data cards, not to mention a sawed off shotgun.

    1. Here's how Our Town's blanket program works. They go into the woods and steal blankets from the homeless, take them to Chelsea's to wash them and then donate them to one of the charities or salvation army then send a news release to PDN.
Now the homeless have to come back into town to get another blanket--and OT's whole idea is to get them out of town--right?
Oh, another idiotic aspect. They (rightfully) whine about dirty syringes laying around. The county starts a needle exchange program then OT goes and takes photos of the people trying to turn in needles. They post them on their OT Facebook page. This scares off the users who want to do the right thing. All their methods are designed for only one thing--keeping the season open for hunting homeless--flushing them like quail, they like it--they are sadists.
They revel in the misery of others. Even those high and mighty merchants who don't get out in the streets but sit home in front of their computers and watch poverty-porn. "Look honey, look at Alice, you remember the cute girl in 9th grade who was always quoting poetry, look at her now, down at the Salvation Army, see where that poetry got her."

Isn't this emerging vigilante culture and violence associated idolized in the movies (e.g. Dirty Harry, etc.)? Isn't the NRA complicit? Don't politicians encourage it?

The mantra of Our Town and their ilk:
