I've Been Gone, But Port Angeles is Doggone!

So, I've been away for a couple of days (to lovely Astoria, Oregon), and it seems like I didn't miss much.

Oh, well, there was this one item...

Child rape, animal cruelty charges filed against Port Angeles woman

Deanna Marie Wilson, 41, was charged for allegedly raping a 15-year-old boy, having sexual contact with a dog, and for taking pictures of the incidents.

Other than that, looks like it's been business as usual in happy, functional Port Angeles.

  1. In not quite related news...Someone has landed here while I was gone by searching for "port angeles smell," and several found their way here by searching for "adam chamberlin port angeles."

  2. I too was frankly horrified by that news headline - I was like "seriously PA - wtf?"

  3. Maybe the Our Town group can get this woman and Adam to pose for pictures to promote their efforts?!

  4. Seem there would be charges of "Cruelty to animals."

    1. Read the headline, jackass. Those ARE the charges.

  5. I see on the other thread somebody is promoting that vigilante groups next "rally against crime". No, really.

    Typical Port Angeles.

These idiots can't see the ridiculousness of what they are doing? Oh, that's right. This is Port Angeles. This is the same story line of some many we've seen go down here, before.

The head of their group makes headlines for receiving stolen goods, and they are holding a rally against crime a week later?

  6. If this doesn't make the Seattle/Tacoma news, I'll eat my hat. Meth heads, child branders, bulldozer bullies and dog fuckers. Our regional reputation must be SO good.

    1. The City's new marketing company, Vertigo Marketing, must be so thrilled. Their oh-so catchy phrase? "Port Angeles: There's more to explore". No kidding.

Just tell the tourists if their cell phones go missing, ask the "Our Town" people to return them.

    1. Someone obviously tipped off KONP, since they have now added the needed "L".

    3. So...You're saying that someone on staff at KONP reads this blog? Wait, you're saying that someone at KONP can READ?

  8. Anyone know if PA is above or below average on overall crime? We know for sure that median IQ is far down on the scale, but how does that translate to crime?

    1. Do you remember the post a while back about "The 15 most dangerous cities in Washington"? It was a list compiled on FBI stats. Google that, and Port O Call, and it'll probably come up.

The funny thing is, as I remember, Sequim is on that list, and Port Angeles isn't.

But, that doesn't stop the morons in this town from thinking it is a big problem.
