Bow WOW!

Even by the warped standards of Clallam County...This is a strange one:

**NEWS RELEASE FROM SHERIFF BENEDICT**
**PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST FOR ANIMAL LICENSES**
Recently the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office received a Public Records Act (PRA- RCW 42.56) request from Port Angeles resident Adam Chamberlin as follows:
----Please provide me with a CD containing all of the licensed pets in Clallam County, including license numbers, owner information, and all other pertinent information. Please provide me an invoice for the compilation of these records and I will pay upon pickup.---

First Steve Markwell, now this. What the..? Why, why would Adam Chamberlin, the thrice convicted felon, be requesting this information? Can anyone offer any insights into this bizarre - and now, apparently withdrawn - request?

Lassie, what is it? Is Cherie Kidd down in the old well? Is Pat Downie trapped in the old mine? Did Glenn Cutler fall into the old Turd Tank? What the..?

Woof! Woof! Watch out! Madam likes to fetch
sawed-off shotguns! Woof! Woof!

  1. You should be asking why the Sheriff is posting this? I mean, I can agree with the Madam post about the Sheriff being a whiny bitch about this. It is not the Sheriff's job to ask -- just fulfill the damn request.
As for the Madam, she's feeling a bit miffed that no one is talking about her (and her tiny peepee).
She has a pomeranian....quite the manly dog (NOT).

  2. It just goes to show EVERYONE what a wack job Madam Chamberlin is.

    Any doubts out there?

  3. Adam CHamberlin FB post claims he is innocently planning on starting a free service to find and reunite missing pets with their owners. He made some disparaging remarks about the incredibly successful Pet Posse asking for donations when they have located and reunited pets and owners. And of course He had to toss in his views about the Pet Posse advertizing in Port O Call where Dale Wilson selfishly allows them to list missing and found pets in the newspaper. It was all an innocent attempt at providing a better free service. It never occurred to him I guess to donate all that free time to the Pet Posse and their incredibly successful free service or that the Sheriff might have some reservations and feel the need to warn the public before turning over every licensed Clallam County pet owners name, address and phone number to a person with weapon and theft felonies.

    1. Seems these clowns think destroying a legitimate business is all fair and good? Is that a two-way street?

  4. Also I would like to add that many of the Our Town ilk are all in a huff about the Sheriffs posted notice and concern for public safety and many of them have stated that Sheriff Benedict will not be getting their vote in any future election. I am a felon with outstanding fines and thus unable to vote. Many of the Our Town members are also felons, They won't be voting either.

    1. Ah, yes. With a group of vigilantes and their supporters influencing elections, how can anything go wrong?

How many times in human history have we seen this, before? Will we see people running around with machetes hacking people to death, that don't meet the proper criteria?

Oh? Not that brutal? Too extreme an example? Maybe rounding everyone up you have suspicions about, and put them on trains to "work camps" fits better?

How far to the bottom of "humanity" does this have to go, before reasonable people say "Enough is enough!"??

  6. There is an article about O-Hole's criminal past. Though these things are absolutely legit to discuss during an election, Jake Oppelt says: “It’s a joke you’re even talking about it.”

    There's a joke there, alright, Jake...You got a mirror?

    1. Jakeo had an opportunity to "come clean" when he was asked on the radio if he had "issues" from his past that might be of interest to voters.
He lied his ass off then. What may have been excused as youthful indiscretions now look like a pattern of deceit still hanging around him. He lies to the police and now he is lying to voters.

    2. Someone needs to alert Paul Gottlieb about Jake's arrest at the downtown Texaco station several years ago, that was eventually dropped on a technicality, where Jake was initially charged with stealing beer at 2am - during which the arresting officer (John Nutter) found cocaine on his person. He was owner of Gastro Pub at the time. Suffice to say, the police dept. dropped both charges on technicality reasons i.e. the search and discovery of cocaine supposedly went beyond the original beer stealing charge.

    3. Leave it to blowhard Matthew Rainwater to defend Jake in the PDN article. Gee, I wonder if someone without Republican affiliation would receive the same level of support.

    4. The fact they are selling the amazing Mr. O-hole as the second coming of JC should be frightening anyone who has a half a working brain cell.

Mystery investors. Newspaper is joking to ask any questions about his shady past. People support him as a "businessman". (How hard is it to be a money launderer?)

How many bastard kids does he have? He's the perfect "baby daddy", isn't he. Hope he pays his child support -- because the businesses won't be all that successful if the state sucks away deadbeat cash.

    3. Yeah, Pixie, get out while the getting is good, and launder that money so when the whistle-blowers start making noise, and this whole scam falls like a house of cards, you can be in an non-extraditable country.

And, then wait when it really gets BAD, when the workers comp claims start from everyone inhaling all those nano particles.

Composites crushed and ground up release abundant amounts of nano-particles into the air (several billion times greater than making the original composites). The fibers are worse than asbestos.

We'll all hear about it when the poor kids duped into working there start filing disability claims, or dropping dead.

Pixie will be sitting on some tropical island sipping his drink with an umbrella in it.

Nope, I'm not nuts. It's already been well researched. Human and animal studies have shown that inhaled nanoparticles can travel from the lungs into the bloodstream, causing cardiovascular disease, lung problems, and more. No OSHA standards yet, because no one is doing this -- except our morons. Why? Because any real company is going to need to take major precautions and risk to keep the workers safe -- so it will end up in a 3rd world country.

But until then bon voyage Pixie Bob.

  10. How cool would it be for a three time felon to have a list of all the homes not to burglarize because they have a dog. Or, be able to call the dog by name when he comes up on the property late at night. Just remember Mark Nichols had a chance to get this whack-job off the streets and he muffed it. Nichols had him in his sights. Had four good cases to take before a jury. Already had a jury planned. Then Nichols, for no apparent reason, dropped two misdemeanors and a felony charge. This whack-job got off with community service thanks to our man-boy county prosecutor who seems to spend more time seducing his office manager than putting bad guys away. So, lock your doors or lock and load. This might get interesting.

    1. Let him come. I didn't do a dog license, because it doesn't mean crap (my last dog that was licensed, the humane society never even called me when she was lost, and then claimed they tried to call before adopting her out to a family. SOL they said).
So, let him break into here. My dog would love from fresh ass meat.

  11. So now this gang of thugs (and that's being polite) has creeped their mission, after taking their best shot at Dale Wilson, to take aim at everyone who may have advertised in POC? In this case, to put the Pet Posse out of business under the false pretense that they care about animals? Seems more like they've declared a local civil war. Way to go, PA.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anon 8:18, this "civil war" has been going on for months now. This "gang of thugs" has been calling up all the businesses that advertise with the Port o Call, and have overtly threatened them. Look up a past issue of the Port o Call on their website, look up a couple of the advertisers, and stop by and ask them if they've been called by thugs.

  12. Sheriff Benedict seems to be an upstanding guy by showing some leadership here.

But you have to ask, who's giving the orders to the OT outlaws?

Given the focused pattern of harassment of POC advertisiers, one might reasonably conclude that the real gang of outlaws wants the news buried so much that they "hired" the OT gang to do their dirty work for them.

What? PA still in the 19th century? With a plot like a western movie?

    1. Bullshit. This is a way for the Sheriff to try and neuter the freedom of information act. You can't pick and chose the information requested.

And, everyone KNOWS that only about 10% of the pet owners have licenses in this county. So, how different is this than him knowing your address by opening the phone book?

I can't believe that anyone is thinking that Benedict and Nichols weren't behind this. They are trying to erode one of the FEW tools the individual has to really see what our government is doing.

With out it we'd all have to sue the government (and that takes buttloads).

I think Nichols and Madam came up with this idea -- and Benedict was the rube who got snookered on this one.

On the facebook page about it even the grand dame of the Out of Towners (CWard) accused Madam of just seeking attention.

    2. @8:41 here. Hmm, 7:05 you made me think twice, thanks. But all Public Record Act (PRA) requests are themselves public record, so what's the public harm in posting one? I don't see how that "erodes" the PRA. Not necessarily disagreeing, but please explain your position?

      Delete
    3. The sheriff's office was trying to get people up in arms, and an outcry, to change the public records request laws, because "look what they can get of your information" (the horror).

And, it isn't like Clallam County has been all that good an fulfilling records requests, have they?

So, to me it looked like an end-run around the law, to somehow create a situation where people would rally against it. Pets, my information, OH MY.

Whats next? Madam will come for our children?

      Delete
    4. I doubt that anything the Clallam County Sheriff's office could ever do would influence the state legislature to change state law and policy.

  13. Maybe the Madam intends to scrutinize records of pets registered to homeless people and make "citizen arrests" for the crime of falsifying a government document if the pet owner is listed as living somewhere indoors?
The inspiration may have come from reports that a port commission candidate used an address other than his domicile to file for office?
    Just kidding...

    1. He is licensed by the state as a private investigator. Which said license was apparently not lifted after the felony conviction. The license carried the "armed" credential, but that should have been lifted cause he had to give up his bedroom full of guns. I hope, anyway.

    2. Doubtful he is still licensed. Felons are not eligible for a PI license.

  15. Hmm, locate dog owners, steal their pets, then magically "find" them and ask for money. Or maybe just threaten them so they don't call the Pet Posse.

Which one of you OT low-lifes came up with that one?

    1. It could be a worse. Dogs are stolen all the time to "train" fighting dogs. All they need is fresh blood to get the fighting dogs used to going for the kill. Many of the "lost dogs" wind up in someone's "arena" just to feed this blood "sport." Having a ready list of available dogs would be worth thousands in the hands of the right scumbag.

  18. Here is an idea. Some one should ask every civic leader, in every position, whether or not they support OT. Elected or not. Business owners, too.

Enough pussy-footin' around. If Port Angeles' leadership and businesses support vigilantes running people they dislike out of town by what ever means, then let the supporters stand up proudly. Put a sign in your window saying you support OT.

    Time to take a stand.

It's an election season. It's the time to talk about our town, what we want it to be like, and where we want it to go in the future.

Let's ask the city council members. The County Commissioners. Mark Nichols. School Board. PABA. Chamber. Downtown business owners.

Let's know who is supporting this.

  19. and meanwhile, in the primary for position #1, Negus opted for full reporting on his campaign (for unknown reasons) and has not filed one single report. No financials. No donations. Nothing. (Deadline was last Monday and Tuesday.)

Having said that, the emergence of this vigilante group IS a very important issue. People do understand the dangerous and bad things they are, and are creating. People rightfully are concerned, as this group further drags down any possibilities that Port Angeles will be seen as anything other than the racist, bigoted backwater it is.
